Depot locations
You’ll start your day at the depot you choose. Choose from:
Dartford, Croydon, Wembley, Edgware, Enfield, Aylesford, West Thurrock and Grays.
Your deliveries are on a route set by the depot, so they may be in the surrounding areas rather than the depot town itself.

Is it full time or part time?
Full time. 5 days a week minimum, and you choose the days.
Am I employed or self-employed?
Self-employed. You handle your own tax and National Insurance.
How and when am I paid?
£190 a day, paid weekly every Monday by bank transfer. It’s not cash in hand.
Can I use a car?
No, vans only. Cars aren’t accepted for this role.
I don’t have a van. Can I still apply?
Yes. We provide vans with no upfront fee. The rental comes out of your weekly pay and insurance is included. Vans are mainly manual.
My licence is automatic only. Can I apply?
Yes, but you’ll need your own automatic van, or one rented elsewhere.
What do I need to use my own van?
A 2016 (16 plate) or newer van, the V5C logbook, Hire & Reward insurance (carriage of goods), £5 million public liability and £25,000 goods in transit insurance.
Can I apply with points?
Yes, up to 6 points for minor offences like speeding (SP) or a red light (TS10), and no more than 3 offences in 4 years. Not accepted: drink or drug driving, careless or dangerous driving, no insurance, driving while banned, a totting-up ban (TT99) or any Ireland (MR) code.
I’m not sure how many points I have.
Check for free at gov.uk/view-driving-licence. You’ll need your licence number, National Insurance number and postcode.
What does a clean basic DBS mean?
No unspent criminal convictions. Spent convictions don’t show on a basic DBS.
Is the work consistent?
Yes, the work is consistent, and it stays that way as long as you keep turning up and showing you’re ready to work.
When can I start?
Once your application is approved, the delivery company contacts you about training and your start date.
